Hermione Granger was always a book girl. Even at a young age she read everything she could get her hands on — and one day that just so happened to be Matilda, the book about a smart bookish girl who could move things with her mind. What would any young muggle-born witch think?
[Based off of a headcanon I saw on google about Hermione reading Matilda and attempting to use her own magic to mirror it, even though she doesn't know she's a witch yet.]
Twelve authors provide their perspectives on human ingenuity and usefulness as we try to find our place among the stars. From battletested to brokenhearted, humans are capable of amazing things. Humans Wanted shows not only what we are, but how awesome we can be.
Mrs Granger wanted her five daughters to marry someone rich and well-mannered. That's when Blaise Zabini and Draco Malfoy, two wealthy gentlemen, arrived at Netherfield. Blaise quickly falls in love with the eldest daughter, but Draco and the second-eldest daughter held some prejudices against each other. What will happen next?
Disclaimer: I changed some parts of the plot and most of the plot belongs to the Pride and Prejudice movie (1995).
This is just a test to see how this website works
Hermione and Draco are chosen Head Boy/Girl for Hogwarts. However, they despise each other and think they have nothing in common. Could they be wrong? What is there to share?
I was told by a review to add this, so I added the warning.

Oliver Wood and Ellie Diggory have been friends for years, even though all of their classmates swear that they should be more than that.
Oliver is a powerful muggle-born wizard who has to hide his extraordinary magical abilities. Other than that he is just a normal teenager who wants to pass his OWLS and NEWTS and maybe win the Quidditch cup for Gryffindor.
Ellie is a strong and fiery Hufflepuff who would do anything to support and protect her best friend.
Fourth year brings first loves and heartbreaks along with a new Gryffindor seeker named Harry Potter. When Oliver receives an invitation to join the deatheaters he must choose which side he will stand on and if he will fight for what he believes in.
Fifth year brings Oliver a new potions partner whose parents were known supporters of Voldemort. When muggle-born students start being mysteriously attacked can the two of them find common ground and overcome the blood-supremacy mentality that has divided the wizarding world for centuries.
Oliver, Ellie, and their friends find themselves unknowingly pulled into a plot to defeat Voldemort that is bigger than any of them. All they can do is take it one day at a time.
*Starts going AU between fourth and fifth year when Oliver takes it upon himself to not let Harry stay in an abusive environment*
To anyone who has read the original version, kudos to you.

The mortals are sleeping, however, unknowing that two great powers will soon by vying for control. Then something happens that changes things. A young princess makes a bid for power by murdering her father. She then attempts to murder her sister, the crown princess of Lineria, Keiara. Despite a true strike, aided by dark powers, Keiara doesn’t die. Instead, the strike pierces the barrier between her human soul and the soul sleeping within her, the soul of the Dark Phoenix. More than a goddess, the Dark Phoenix is the legendary mother of the gods. She is a part of the Eternal Phoenix that brought life to their world eons ago, one of the primal forces of the cosmos.
Unbenounced to the Marauders, Lily, and Jasmine, the Hogwarts professors (only Dumbledore and McGonagall really) had made bets on them over the years. They were secretly shipping them and then betting on their ships! (Part of FBtH series. See inside for more info for when this takes place.) (Marked as complete but going to add Jily in later)

Every day Leila al-Ghani spends in Mosul is a reminder of what her life once was. Before the war, she was the daughter of one of the city's finest families. She was encouraged by her parents to get an education, to think like a modern woman. But now, with Mosul crumbling around her, she is expected to strictly adhere to traditions, to dress modestly with the hijab covering her hair, and to be arranged in marriage.
Disobeying her domineering father and secretly taking a job as a translator at an American military base, Leila's beliefs are forever challenged when she meets a host of new people with different perspectives on the war--and the world. But it is Leila's friendship with Major James Cartwright that will test her courage in profound ways. And when she discovers those she loves are deeply entangled in the most violent, controversial aspects of the war, where she places her loyalties could cost Leila her life.

Im bored so review a story request. cant be too long bc I don't have the time to make an actual story lol
This story is meant to be a sort of 90s dramedy/sitcom/soap opera. It is entirely OCs. NO CANON CHARACTERS!
Twenty-six year old Jacoline Holcombe believes herself quite firmly on the shelf. Faced with an unfulfilling silent life, she abandons all propriety, dresses in men's clothing, and goes fencing with her brother. There, due to terrible luck and even worse planning, "Jack" is introduced to - and tries to curtsy to - the reserved and unapproachable Duke of Aspen.
Aspen is scarred over most of his face and body. He is accustomed to fending off the advances of fortune hunters and their mothers and has never known a woman to want anything more from him. Self-conscious and cynical, he dislikes social occasions and avoids the company of women. Faced with an awkward and oddly effeminate young man, however, he goes out of his way to be kind.
Believing her a gentleman, Aspen shows Jacoline a man's life in Regency-era London and trusts her with his secrets. But as much as Jacoline comes to respect and love the Duke of Aspen, she is living a lie and the truth would ruin her. She does not know that her actions also risk exposing her brother's secret: an illegal male lover and a family hidden from the world. After Aspen discovers Jacoline's lies and the house of cards begins to fall, Jacoline must beg the man she secretly loves to save her brother...

A sexy novel about two seventeen-year-olds—one a victim of human trafficking; the other the son of the man who enslaved her—who fall in love and question everything they ever believed…
THIS IS A STORY ABOUT SACRIFICE . . . DEATH . . . LOVE . . . FREEDOM. THIS IS A STORY ABOUT FOREVER.
Seventeen-year-old Haven Antonelli has never known freedom. From the time she was a little girl, she and her mother have been slaves— victims of human trafficking orchestrated by a vast Mafia network. But when Haven attempts to escape and is caught, one man gives her a choice: go with him or die. Agreeing to leave with Dr. Vincent DeMarco, Haven arrives at his home and meets the doctor’s defiant—yet intriguing—son Carmine. Though Carmine’s privileged upbringing is a world away from hers, Haven senses the things they share. And soon her tenuous friendship with Carmine blossoms into an unexpected love.
Carmine has breezed through life breaking every rule, scorning attachments— until he meets this strange, timid girl his father has brought home. Her innocence draws him in a way he cannot understand, and makes him feel in ways he never thought he’d experience. And when he learns the Mafia isn’t through with her, he becomes bent on protecting her . . . no matter the cost.
