In November of 1981, the leaders of the muggle world thought that their breif foray into the magical world and its "little war" were over. Thatecher dissolved her 'war cabinet', meetings and correspondence became once again infrequent, stability and indifference had returned. The world is never so clear cut however, and the close relationship between theMinister for Magic and the muggle Prime Minister continues. Beneath a searne surface, the muggle world watches as conflict once again brews. Muggle world leaders are placed in an uncomforatble position between a world they govern and one beyond their control, a world whoses conflicts threaten the stability of their own. 

Note from the author: the first two chapters have been slow, but starting with chapter three things will pick up.

He defeated Voldemort and they turned on him, so he left. Moved to the US, completed Highshool then College with three different degrees. Then he was contacted by a branch of the government that technically didn't exist with the Mother-of-all job offers; Sector Seven with genuine alien artifacts. Now his fate was intricately tied with that of a mechanical alien race

February 2000: Newly Qualified (in record time) Auror Harry Potter remains obsessed with “The List.” The ten people still wanted for their part in the Battle of Hogwarts. Their capture is essential. It will bring closure to the events of the past few years. Harry has set himself a target. He wants to see “The Last Death Eater” and the other nine captured before the Second Anniversary of the battle. His attempts to meet his target will bring heartbreak, danger, pain, and a lifechanging injury for one former DA member.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, reworked to feature a Harry/Hermione pairing. Also have Deathly Hallows written which will be uploaded in due course. Other than the pairing, the plot is very similar. 

I have not looked to change the story, and the characters remain (hopefully) faithful to the books. With both HBP and DH, I have called on material from the books and the films, intertwining them when necessary. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed (re)writing them. Much of the text is JK Rowling's initial work, and even in HBP, it is surprising just how much a Harry/Hermione relationship gets hinted at - even though ultimately it does not prove to be the case. I do think Hermione's character was harshly treated in both of the final two books though, and hopefully this goes some way to righting that!

"I would rather poke my eyes out with a quill than spend time alone with you, actually” I said coolly. Black ran a hand through his dark long hair, visibly exasperated.

“Don’t be ridiculous! I'll have you know that any girl in the school would kill for a chance to spend an entire evening alone with me” he said. Arrogant bastard. Not that he wasn’t right, but you know.

The quiet of the Burrow was suddenly broken with a crashing sound as Harry announced his arrival by arriving on his back and sliding into the Burrow kitchen. There was a slight cloud of soot and as Harry stood up Ginny threw herself into his arms laughing.

'You never did get used to the landing when travelling by Floo Powder' she said still laughing and quickly kissed him lightly on the lips before her mother could catch them.

Draco finds himself writing a poem about a particular girl with firey red curls and a smile that puts all of his broken pieces back together.
