I wrote this story originally for the writer's duel under the name Draco's Detour, but I decided to continue it. Summary: The stream was covered by weak, blue ice and the only thing that was rustling was the frozen grass beneath their feet. There were no birds singing, everything seemed dead, even the chestnut trees.
