We are intruduced to the new future deputy heamaster, gryffindor head, and transfiguration teacher as attempts to persuade a student of muggle born parents (The duty of any Deputy headmaster or headmistress) to attend Hogwarts and also as he recounts his first meeting in many years with Minerva McGonagall.
