Harry is back on Privet Drive. He and the Dursleys relationship is worse than ever before and Harry is finding harder to control his emotions. His own viciousness worries him. He misses the Weasleys and Hogwarts. He knows he will have to face Voldemort soon. Suddenly, he meets write Jordan Taylor, an American woman, older than him, who befriends him. But how does a Muggle know things about him only a Wizard should?

Harry begins to feel comfortable sharing his alternate universe with Jordan, until enemies feel him doing magic and come to investigate. His magic leads them to Jordan and Harry must make a difficult choice.

The due make it to Hogwarts and Harry has to find a plan. But has he let his guard down? Has he unwittingly sacrificed Jordan?

Harry and Jordan head to the Burrow where Harry formulates his plan to go after a horcrux. Ron and Hermione vow to help Harry but it's obvious, they don't trust Jordan. Will Harry lose his best friends?
