A group of three are transported into the past, meeting a generation that they hardly ever knew. Books and such could only provide them with so much information. They get to meet those who truly matter to them, though hope is lost when they are reminded that the dead cannot be reawakened, no matter how much you want them to. I find this story much deeper, so far at least, than anything I have ever written before. It was hard to write it, but it just lept out of my fingers.
