We all know that history is often written by white, middle aged, upper class men – and is often represented to favor them. What if Hogwarts history was only taken at surface value? What if it was subject to the same failings as most history? Very few facts are certain surrounding the founders and what if those facts were misconstrued? Here is my view on the events surrounding the fall of a founder: why did Salazar Slytherin suddenly decide that non-magical students were not permitted in their school?
