Hermione enters her 7th year, alone, relinquished and depressed. Now head girl she finds herself facing more than she had anticipated, a new love? like poison it subsides unwillingly through her veins... 'His heart was cold, fatigued and weak. Hermione and Draco are stuck in the head's dorm, lesson haven't strated and they both find each other's company...well rather annoying...“It’s amazing what a single touch can do-” she mumbled inaudibly, directing her eyes to Malfoy’s long, perfect hands.

Hermione finds herself facing the potions challenge with Malfoy and Blaise...arguments break out and she finds herself dreaming horrid dreams of her father...and an uninvited guest...The poison is slowly sinking in as she confronts Malfoy about these dreams...'Hermione leaned in closer, the smell of roses blurring her senses. Hermione woke up feeling well...happy. Hermione is troubled and lonely, upset by Draco she sets out to the black lake where her memories find a way back into her heart and new complications are brought up... Her memories flashed before her eyes as she was brought into a deep sleep, full of nightmares and death…A shadow fell across her face from the light of the moon.
