After his failure to complete his mission in June, Draco returns to Hogwarts when it's barely kept open. A reluctant Harry Potter and company also return. Draco's new mission? Get close to Potter, through his mudblood friend. But what if Draco fell for her? What if Hermione Granger weren't Hermione Granger? Or even a muggleborn!?

Hermione starts to notice Harry being too brotherly to her and it enrages her, and Ron does the same thing but in a different kind of meaning. Hermione can't take it anymore and has to convince herself that boys are stupid, she's the Head Girl and she doesn't need them. But Draco overhears her telling herself not to let Harry bother her. He plans to help the girl he thinks is still a prefect as he hurries to the meeting...as Head Boy.
