This fic was written while I was reflecting on one of my assumptions about Lily and Petunia's past. It's very often assumed that the Evans sisters never got along. I don't quite believe Petunia and Lily always had a bad relationship. Petunia is far too passionate about her sister. I think they were quite close as children, and their separate paths in life, the conflicts of living in the magical/Muggle world, and eventually their choice in men did damage to their relationship in the long run.
