“And,” Sirius said, suddenly looking more excited, “We can have our own set of rules. Not stuff like ‘keep your hands and feet to yourself’ but like, commandments of what is expected of a Marauder. Like, the Ten Commandments of a Marauder or something.”

“What?” Remus asked, “You guys are only making rules that go against me!”

“Give me the Commandments so I can write the stupid rule.” he snapped. “Fine. But they aren’t stupid Moony,” James said handing the parchment over. Remus dipped his quill into his ink that he had left out and wrote the forth commandment of the Marauders

“How many times am I going to tell you to stop asking me that?” Mcgonagall asked. “Till you answer yes,” Remus said honestly. Mcgonagall walked towards the Marauders, frowning.

“You know how today is Peter’s birthday, well he got a HUGE box of candy from his parents. I mean, it’s literally filled with every type of candy in existence. He doesn’t want to open it up without the rest of us so we can all pig out!” Sirius said, and began tugging Remus’s arm away, but Remus shook his head.

“What? That’s not fair!” James cried as Sirius ran up to the dorms and grabbed the list of Commandments from a table between the beds. He ran downstairs again with some ink and a quill. He quickly wrote down the newest Commandment before James could grab the quill from his hand. Remus would only be able to hold him back for a while before James got clever and wiggled his way out.
