It is only the first day of school and Rose is already exhausted from teaching. Well, there is also the fact that one of her students might have found out what she really is, and that a so-called-friend that should have left the world keeps appearing around her.

The distance between them for years has only made Rose and Severus's love stronger. Rose feels as though she is finally home, and Snape not being as evil as usual is a change to everyone at Hogwarts. Harry's visions of Rose keep coming. While going to Dumbldore, Harry meets a lady in a mirror who needs his help. Is Harry halucinating, or is Harry and the lady somehow connected?

Rose's sixth sense tells her something is wrong, and soon enough she finds out what. Ron Weasley holds the gem of Fire and is using it against the school! What is worse, Ron has no control over himself; the soul of the gem and Sephen are fighting over him, and it is causing Ron to go out of control! Will Rose be able to cool down the menace? Also, something happens to Rose that scares her, her demon side is growing stronger...

While taking a walk, Rose stumbles upon a demon which tells her most disturbing news of a great army massing together. Before Rose can heal it, the demon bursts into flames and leaves a scorch mark on the back of her hand. Why is this army created and where is it coming from?

Rose wakes up only to find the castle turning into a winter wonderland! At first the amounts of snowfall in the castle seem okay, but once the temperature starts dropping dangerously, Rose is put on the job. Is this cold climate the job of the Ice gem, or is it someone else that wishes disaster?

Rose may have one the battle and her right to stay at Hogwarts, but her day of victory only seems to bring her more pain. The eye is becoming relentless, and an old habit of her third year returns. Harry has his own share of problems; the woman appears again, and the worst yet; Harry has a fit of pain similar to Rose's. What could all this mean?

After having a strange dream, Rose wakes up to find that she had been trying to cut herself up again, but Severus had stopped her, and she had hurt him instead. Harry also has a strange dream, and as he takes a walk around the castle, sees the woman again. This time he keeps up with her, and as he stops in front of the mirror, she pulls him in. Rose wakes up only to find the crimson eye above her, scared and confused she runs into the forest and becomes lost.

Lord Voldemort claims he comes in peace, and that he was wrong about Nadora. He wishes to help find andsave Rose. As well as Voldemort, another unexpected visitor appears; the demon Rose tried to save, Kamino. Kamino andVoldemort both know where Rose and Harry have been taken. Severus, Voldemort, and Kamino band together as the Team ofEnemies.
