Caitlin and Lily lounge by the pool

Caitlin and Lily get ready for Santinas party!

Lily saw three golden tears drip from the corners of Caits eyes. “Oh come now Caitlin Darling.” Lily said wiping Caits tears away. “Get some sleep and you can have a fresh start at wooing Remus tomorrow.” Lily hugged her lovesick friend and kissed her cheek. They looked at each other and giggled. Caitlin was swaying slightly from her spot on the bed. Caitlin brought her hand to her mouth and Lily’s stomach dropped.

James who two minutes before was happily eating his bowl of rice pudding. But, was now hopelessly picking at it, taking a spoonful and letting it drip slowly back into the bowl.

Peter was staring dreamily across the Great Hall. Remus turned and saw where he was looking, the Hufflepuff table. An average looking girl with long brown hair stood up and Peter watched her walk.

“How about this” Sirius said thinking quickly. “Next week we’ll sneak into Hogsmeade through the secret passageway and go shopping for suits and when we’re done, say around 8:00, we’ll meet you two ladies in the Three Broomsticks for drinks. It’ll be the Marauders and their two favorite girls together again before our annoying significant others come to Cait’s house with us and ruin our fun.”

“Sirius where is your Marauder spirit? Don’t you think a night like this deserves a Marauder toast?”
“Ah you are right!” Sirius said “Sorry mate my rumbling stomach got the better of me.”
“No problem. Would you Sirius, as custom, like to start the toast?”
“Nothing would make me happier Jamesie Poo.” James rolled his eyes but smiled none the less. Sirius got to his feet.
