Finally!  Ashlee has been discovered by of all people Harry Potter!  However she is called away to have her Hippogriff wound check by Madam Pomfrey.  What will Madam Pomfrey do when she finds out Ashlee healed her own wound?  Just as Madam Pomfrey is about to tell Ashlee what she thinks of this, Dumbledore arrives!  Should Ashlee tell him about Harry?  New Canonesque Version!

When Ashlee set out to take advantage of Harry’s ability to see her, she never realized how upset it would make her teachers.  It’s not as if she broke the ‘need to know’ spell on purpose after all.  Strong words in the Staff Room, McGonagall and Snape let accusations fly.  So why is Lupin laughing?  What has Dumbledore to do with this?  Things may not be what they seem in this chapter, but when all is said and done will Ashlee finally understand what the real school secret is?  New Canonesque Version!

At long last, Ashlee is sitting at the Gryffindor table when it is full of her peers.  However, it seems getting past the teachers was only half the battle.  Her friendship with Draco immediately sets Ron against her, and leaves the entire Trio sceptical of her.  Can ‘the Triad Ideal’ – a strict code of manners and decorum- fix this uncertain first impression?  Or will it take something more – Like the dropping of one of the most respected names in the Wizarding World?

Ashlee’s first day of classes hold Double Potions with the Slytherins! But Draco seems to be missing! What’s going on? Ashlee clearly remembers healing his arm with her own invented Triad Cure at dinner, but perhaps Mr. Draco doesn’t? Sparks fly when Ashlee tricks Snape into letting her go and fetch the wayward Draco. Is this whole ruse masterminded by Draco’s Father Lucius as Ashlee thinks? Is Lucius ignoring the Triad? Or is this only a small third year’s plot against a new Teacher?

“Professor Lupin is very nice.” Ashlee assures everyone. Not only does he seem nice, but he’s also smart and funny as well, judging by the way he handles Peeves the Poltergeist. However, when his first lesson turns out to be Boggarts, things get a little anxious. Ashlee seems to have faith in Professor Lupin, but does she have enough faith in herself to tackle the Boggart or does she harbour a secret fear not dissimilar to Harry’s?

Ah, the trials of being a Triad Princess! While other students are sleeping in, Ashlee is again up with the sun, this time stretching for a day of Physical Lessons. Just as she is beginning her stretches, a tap-tap is heard at her window. It seems Grand Marie has a letter for Dumbledore, but why was it delivered to Ashlee and not the Headmaster directly? A peak into the schedule of a would be Triad Leader.

When Professor McGonagall comes to get her from Hagrid’s Care of Magical Creatures Class, on Dumblie’s orders, at first Ashlee hasn’t any idea why. All is soon revealed, once McGonagall delivers her to the Quidditch Pitch. Apparently, Grand Marie’s letter contained orders that she should replace Harry as Seeker! Ashlee is furious, but secretly would love to play Seeker. However, she isn’t about to allow the teachers to hurt Harry like that. Is there anyway to appease Grand Marie and allow Harry to keep playing? 

After a long day of practice Ashlee heads to her tower to find a relaxing bath has been drawn for her. However just as she is settling down for a glorious hot soak, she hears a tap-tap at her window. It is Barns n’ Noble at last with her reply! However barns sways drunkenly and Ashlee has to catch her to make sure she doesn’t fall. What happened to Ashlee’s owl? Why would anyone want to stop Ashlee’s letters to her Momma? Also, what does Momma’s letter say?

Ashlee and Draco meet up in the clock tower courtyard, and are soon ushered into the waiting ‘horseless’ carriages. They happen to share one with some of Draco’s Quidditch mates including Marcus Flint. After passing the gates of the school without incident (despite the terrifying guards), Draco and Ashlee arrive in Hogsmeade and discuss where they should head to first. Wanna find out where they decide to go? You know what you have to do . . .

Ashlee and Draco head over to the Shrieking Shack, where Ashlee pretends she is frightened by the odd feeling in the air. When Draco tries to comfort her she trips him into a pile of leaves. Draco gets angry but Ashlee explains she was only playing a joke on him. A good natured leaf fight ensues. However, just as the two Leaf Warriors are nearing victory a shout is heard from the top of the hill. Someone has caught them at their play fight! Will Draco and Ashlee get into trouble, or will Ashlee be able to talk their way out of it, despite Draco’s sharp tongue?

Ashlee arrives back at Hogwarts only to be grilled by the Weasley Twins, who want to know why Draco was so silent on the ride back to school. Ashlee however does not divulge such secrets that easily. Sitting down at the Gryffindor table, will she gives Harry some of the candy she bought. Then Percy walks up to inform her Dumbledore would like to see her. It is the news she has been waiting for! Harry is allowed to accompany her on her next physical lessons weekend! Surely Harry will enjoy such a treat, right? Or will he be too distracted to care?

Weird. That is clearly the word for the next few weeks after Black’s break-in. When Ashlee appears the Great Hall, the Weasley Twins try to guard her as if she were personally targeted by Black. Students in the corridors aren’t responding to Ashlee’s friendly manner, which increases Ashlee’s curiosity. After helping Hagrid one day, Ashlee meets up with Hermione & Ginny in the Girl’s room and has quite the meandering talk with them. How Ashlee met Draco is revealed, along with the Triads stance on House Elves. Will Hermione understand it?

Rain drops fall on the school and wind wuthers around it. Both Draco and Harry are worried but only Harry wishes to discuss his troubles. Oliver Wood seems to have made it his duty to waylay his team as much as possible with Quidditch pointers making Ashlee and Harry late for DADA. Once they both arrive at the class who should be there sub-ing that Professor Snape! What is he doing there? Why is he so happy Professor Lupin is sick? Will Snape himself make it though this class, or will Ashelle’s fiery temper flare once more and singe his werewolf lesson plan to ashes?

Ashlee awakes in the Hospital Wing unsure of how she got there. Once the slight amnesia subsides, Ashlee quickly asks about Harry - who is sitting in the bed beside her, surrounded by most of the Gryffindor Team, trying to eat a large chuck of chocolate. Wood however is missing. When Ashlee asks about him, the team reveals that the game -despite Diggory's assertions- is undecided. Ashlee asks that the captains and referees be brought to her. Does Ashlee have the snitch? If so, why couldn't the referees find it when they searched her pockets? Tears fall and tempers flare in this chapter.

It's been a long week for Ashlee, having been confided to the Hospital Wing, while her friend Harry was allowed to leave days ago. However, the day has finally arrived on witch Madam Pomfrey has agreed to release her. Along with it comes one last visitor, Professor Lupin. What does he wish to ask her, and why is he so nervous around her? A long story starts here - or is this really the middle?
