Have you ever woken up knowing that you must have been dreaming, but everything around you suggested otherwise? Like when you dream something impossible, but wake up to find it sitting right under your nose? Or like thinking that your safe, but then waking up to find you were never completely free? Well, none of those point to me right now. I know I’m not dreaming, and that’s what scares me.

I got to the edge of the forest and couldn’t hold back any longer. I took off at a sprint into the trees. Because of what I was now, my speed had increased, a lot. The trees looked like blurs going by, and I still wasn’t at top speed yet. The scent was getting stronger, and then suddenly, I stopped. Somewhere, a twig had snapped. Please review!
