Tonks was testing him, pushing him, trying to get him to play into her hand. Trying to break him down and force him to admit that he loved her and hated leaving her behind. But she did not realize that when forced into a corner, a wolf fights back.

Remus' mind knew that he should back away from this fire before he got burnt, but his body and soul longed for just this type of radical catharsis. A cleansing by fire and by water would be just the thing.

It was an instinctive understanding, both bane and inborn. And Remus knew she was about to bolt just by the energy she emitted and by the smallest tension in her silhouette.

Vanya rubbed herself against him, nuzzling his neck, her knee sliding lasciviously over his most sensitive parts, and his blood began to heat against his will.

It was so wrong, oh god, it was so wrong, but the vengeful demon inside of him forced Remus to remain silent, filled his mind with poisonous thoughts...

It was a mark of the impact of Vanya’s words that even Snape seemed discomfited by what he was hearing. He was no longer smiling, but his lips were a tight, thin line.

For Christ’s sake, Remus had begged her, I am NOT going to be the one to teach you!

"Don't speak to me of caring about Nymphadora, Lupin, for you no more care for her tender, pretty skin than I care for the rabbit in my stew.” Snape sneered.

Vanya pulled Remus into the antechamber and he froze in his tracks. Icicles of panic instantly exploded in every pore of his body at the sight of who was waiting there.

All around them, the werewolf clansmen were gathering, watching as Snape ran his wand over Vanya’s body. His face was grim, and a thin trickle of blood was streaming from his nose. He wiped it away quickly with his sleeve.

The gravity of what had happened was finally sinking in, and now that they were no longer in imminent danger, Vanya was obviously ready to confront Remus' sins.
