"James," she breathed. But it couldn't be. The boy turned and she caught a glimps of two incredible green eyes. Lilly's eyes. So this was Harry.

A large, snowy owl hit the window again; a letter was in its beak. Kristen went and opened the window, allowing the owl to swoop in and land on the counter. She took the letter and put out some water for the magnificent beast. A smile lit up her face when she saw it was from Katie. She quickly tore open the envelope and began to eagerly read.  Please R&R!

She quickly tied the letter to the waiting owls leg and turned to go. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of the picture of her and her mother on the nightstand. A sense of uneasiness hit her and she was once again reminded that her mother had not written in two weeks. ‘mom, where are you?’
