Ch. # Chapter Title Word Count Reviews
1 Prologue: Part One

Severus told himself that it was because of boredom that his walks to play in the park had become more and more frequent, even as he saw the little redheaded girl shout and leap around her yard. Her hair spun wildly and caught the bright summer rays of the sun so that she looked like a dancing flame.

3 Prologue: Part Three

Severus trudged slowly to the stool, hat, and the bespectacled, severe-looking professor waiting for him. Lily had been placed in Gryffindor. He took his seat. Uncle Boros had said those of the Prince line were always in the revered house of Slytherin. The hat was placed upon his head.

4 Fast Forward

Reparo!” Again, nothing. “They must have done something to make them irreparable,” Remus realized, laughing again at the fact that James and Sirius would have to wander through the crowded halls back to Gryffindor tower in their present state.

“Well then, let’s beat it before McGonagall gives us detention for indecent exposure.” Sirius said.

 “Again,” Peter added.

“Er… I suppose I should talk to you more, then.” I said awkwardly. His outburst had caught me off guard.

“Maybe you should. I know I would enjoy that." He smiled mischievously again.

“But not anymore than I can stand,” I told him disdainfully.

“Don’t I already talk to you more than you can stand?”

“Yes. So I must be going now.”

7 Surprise!

At first James could hardly believe his good luck yesterday when he had seen Lily sitting outside that café. He had taken it as a sign of destiny; it was as if they were being forced together by fate. But now, after the episode that had just occurred, he wasn’t so sure. Maybe the powers that be were just screwing with him.

8 Two And Two Together

Petunia had just placed her hand on Will’s nicely defined upper arm in greeting when she suddenly let out a blood-curdling scream.  For a mili-second I wondered what it was about Will’s nicely defined upper arm that could have caused my sister to erupt into hysterics, but then a loud screeching noise exploded across the lawn--and it wasn’t coming from Petunia.

9 Midnight Ride

Everything was moving in slow motion. Shards of glass, glittering like crystal knives flew in the air around me as I slumped to the ground. Several people in dark purple robes came charging through the door. The different bursts of color shooting from all the wands looked like a dizzying light show as my vision went in and out of focus.
