Hogwarts, of course, was practically deserted being that term hasn’t officially started but the little dots that were there were labelled incredibly oddly… for example ‘Albus Dumbledore’ was positioned in the Heads office and he‘s dead. ‘Minerva McGonagal’ was also there, strolling along the transfiguration corridor but I know for a fact (a fact!) that she’s retired- for Merlin’s sake I‘d signed the card mum sent her!

“I came up to see James actually,” Lily lied coolly, “I doubt you’ll find anything’s been riffled through.” Yeah because she hadn’t had time. “And whatever girl you’ve got stashed away up here-,” Something must have crossed Sirius’ face as Lily laughed, “-the beer, the chocolates? I’m not stupid. Anyway I don’t care who you’ve got up here for a night of fungal exchange but she certainly doesn’t justify treating my friend like dung.”
