Percy Weasley is 23 years old, jobless, and broke. Undoubtedly, he also needs a place to stay so he heads to the Burrow where his mother lets him live. While there, he runs into someone who was his childhood friend, but he had lost once he went to Hogwarts.

2 Filling in Twelve Years

Percy starts to unpack his things and move back into the Burrow. While doing this, Percy remembers things about Annie, his childhood friend. Also, Percy and Annie decide to go get coffee and catch up on twelve years they had lost. Percy discovers what happened to Annie and why she had to move away.

3 Trouble Makers

Percy and Annie come back from the coffee shop in time for dinner. Then, George Weasley appears and he wonders what Percy is doing there. George, Percy, and Annie end up goofing around outside in the winter cold like a bunch of kids. It is kind of like old times including Mrs. Weasley giving them the whole lecture. Mrs. Weasley also yells at Percy and it makes him feel bad.

Mrs. Weasley tells Annie how she should be with one of her single sons while they are all eating dinner. Then, Annie goes up to her room where Percy and George follow closely behind. The three of them look back at old times and one specific event in particular. In the end, Percy realizes he has some mixed emotions towards Annie.

5 Along Came Charlie

Charlie Weasley now joins the group of trouble makers at The Burrow and Percy starts to wonder why his brothers act differently around Annie. Because of the Christmas sale, George seeks the help of Percy, Charlie, and Annie. While they are there, letters arrive for three of them and a huge secret is revealed.

6 Judgment Day

Annie is an outcast at the Burrow now because of her secret. George is furious while the others are not sure of what to think. They all go to The Ministry of Magic to attend the trial of Walden MacNair. Some secrets are revealed about Annie and we learn a few things about MacNair as well.

7 Apologies

Annie and members of the Weasley family are now back at the Burrow after the trial. Many apologies are given while back at the Burrow. George apologizes to Annie, Percy apologizes to Annie for how her life has been, and Annie apologizes to almost everyone for keeping her secrets. Annie also makes her decision about seeing her father.

8 The Last Request

Percy has a nightmare that is quite unexpected. Annie and him go to the Ministry to see her father. Annie has many questions for her father and soon she finds the answers to them. In the end, the last request is fullfilled and Annie can finally get on with her life.

Percy still procrastinates with telling Annie how he truly feels. After Annie sees her father, she's a wreck and she finally tells Percy that she will be leaving. Unfortunately, Percy doesn't know when and the time comes sooner then he likes. Will Percy end up with the girl or will he lose her forever?
