Greatly moved by the news of the Great Battle of Hogwarts, Victoria Vile arrives at Hogwarts, along with other witches and wizards from around the world. Victoria, along with the other volunteers assist the survivors and help in restoring the castle.

Minerva, Horace, and Victoria pack up the rest of Severus Snape’s possessions from his private quarters in preparation for the arrival of the new Headmaster.

Victoria bids the volunteers goodbye and finally gets to see Hogwarts replete with students. Life goes on, but not without reminders of loss, which during a particularly dreary period even affects Victoria.

Victoria discovers that the information she learned about Severus Snape came with a price and attends the first quidditch match of the year.

Someone is meddling with Severus’ portrait and he takes his anger out on everyone. This new development gives Severus yet another reason to aggravate Miss Vile. After one particularly hurtful quarrel with Severus’ portrait, Victoria finds solace from a Hogwart’s apparition.

The Headmaster asks to speak with Victoria. Noticeably unsettled when she returns to the Slytherin dungeon, Severus’ portrait confronts her and this time Victoria is unable to avoid him.

Victoria visits Myrtle to discuss her current predicament with Severus. After numerous attempts to corner Severus in his portrait, she hopes the Room of Requirement will help her again.

The students return to school and Victoria teaches her first class about magical painting.

Professor Wilson is concerned with the amount of time Victoria is spending with Severus’ portrait.

Victoria returns to her room after dinner, still digesting Marcus’ offer only to have Severus’ portrait grab her complete attention by disclosing even more mind-blowing information.

Severus’ Portrait and Victoria discuss her using the Resurrection Stone. Victoria uses the stone finally getting her chance to interact with the ghost of Severus Snape.

Victoria uses the stone one final time.
