Her mother’s kind hated her father’s kind and vice versa. But who would have thought that two enemies from the most powerful clans would have fallen madly in love and had beared a child. Aerith was known as a hybrid among her family. Half-vampire; half-werewolf. Queen of the Night and Lord of the Moon.

A full moon was beautifully detailed on the paper. A few dark clouds surrounded it but the vastness of the moon captured his sight.

She barely even opened her eyes before her father covered them with his hands. The tiny glimpse she managed to see seemed familiar to her. The ancient furniture, dust, photographs in the walls, and the ornate door leading outside. She knew where she was. She was in her grandmother’s house.

The shadow had drawn him in. The shadow was that of a wolf. Then it hit him it was a werewolf. It was as if Aerith was drawing the creature within the person’s soul.

As soon as the door closed a man from the darkest corner looked up and smiled. The bartender noticed that the man began chuckling as if he had found something that he was searching for.

She grabbed him by the cloak and shook him. “Out with it.” She was on the verge of tears. This had to be a misunderstanding she told herself.

She stared over his shoulder to a picture of her and her family. “You are right Regulus! I need to be strong for my family.”
 
“Yes. So how about we stay here instead of going out?” he asked.
 
“Sorry but I have to go.” She said as she headed to the door.
 
“Where are you going?” he asked

 


Isolde and Aerith where waiting for Lily at the Library. As Aerith looked around the packed room, Isolde dutifully was working on her paper about trolls. Like usual Aerith had done the paper during lecture. She saw no point in listening to some old man retelling them what they had read the night before. Aerith yawned as Lily walked into the room followed by Remus and Sirius.

“Just great.” Aerith grumbled.

 

“I’m not normal Aerith.” He said opening his arms once more. “Come here…” he said.

Aerith walked into his arms and into a world that she never knew could be hers.
