Everyone has a secret. Some are small and insignificant while others are problematic and unbearable. I had one--well, just a few, little, itty-bitty, insignificant secrets. No one ever cared about my secrets anyway. But very soon, my surroundings would come to be filled with horrible secrets. Dangerous ones. The kind that chip pieces away from your soul until there’s nothing left but sand. Yeah. That’s how chipped it gets.
