Harry rolled his eyes. “Ron, for the hundredth time she won’t. I know she won’t. Ron, I-“ he hesitated, “I love her.” What Harry didn’t know was that Renee came out of the shop, just in time to hear him say those fateful words. Her mouth dropped in a perfect circle.
He loves me.

“I DO!” Harry spat. “She told me that day when I saw her with Voldemort, when I got the stone.” He shuddered at the memory.
“Ron,” Harry said as Ron opened his mouth to retort. “Don’t. You just don’t understand this. I love her and if you can’t support that, then don’t speak to me.”
