Where the main caracter is introduced.

“Attention Ravenclaws!” the small voice of professor Flitwick squeeked. “Time for your timetables! I’ll send them down from the top of the table, everybody just find yours and send the rest forward!”

Saturday morning greeted them with a warm sunshiny weather. It was ten o’clock sharp, when Mina and Lily handed their passes to Filch for checking. They had been the first ones in the courtyard, and only a couple of others were standing in line after them, since most of the students didn’t get going before eleven. It was a Saturday after all, and the chance to sleep in was an alluring one.

Mina quietly slipped away from the crowd, taking off towards the toilets. But once she reached the bathroom door, she took a look around, and seeing nobody was there, walked right past it, and out of the quidditch pitch. She heard the crowd roar, part of it cheers, the other part dissapointed moans.

The next day Mina appeared at the dinner table as if nothing had happened. Of course, if you’d taken a closer look, you might have wondered about the dark circles under her eyes and the troubled expression that occasionally flashed over her features, but in the castle full of teenagers, everyone was way too busy with their own stuff to pay that much attention to one another. There were some awkward glances and a few whispers, but since nobody had really seen what happened, and the counterparts weren’t giving away any information, they died away pretty soon.
