The next thing I knew I was lying in bed with James Potter smirking at me again.
I cursed him.
Oh, what fun!

"Let's take bets on what it is," I said cheerfully.
"Ten sickles on it being a boggart," Rushi said.
"Six galleons on it being Geoff Finlay, and Potter's stuffed him in there again," Grace said.
"A galleon on it being a baby hippogriff!" Saf volunteered enthusiastically, giggling. We all stared at her.
"I'm putting ten galleons on it being a couple making out," I said, and held out a hand for the money. I stuffed the mixture of coins into my pocket, then turned back to the cupboard. 

Well, that was useless. Apologise?
Really, mother. You’ve known me for fifteen years, and you think I’m going to apologise?
Well, worth a shot.

Loewn giggled and waited for Sirius to straggle, dripping, out of the lake before she jumped into his arms.
Potter held out his arms, after he’d, too, forced his way through the weeds and out of the lake, obviously hoping for a similar reception.
I denied him.
It was so much fun, watching his face fall as I merely raised an eyebrow.

I squealed with delight. Everyone looked at me.
“Oh. Um…” I looked around and pointed at a small hole in the wall. “There was a… mouse?” They all shrugged, and returned to whatever they were doing.
