Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger - they would never have put themselves within ten feet of each other normally. They hate each other, don't they? Nothing could ever happen, it's too unlikely, isn't it? But, of course, being Head Boy and Girl, it becomes difficult to stop spending time together. Especially when they are living in such close quarters.

Dumbledore seems to know something that they don't about the positions of Head Girl and Boy, after making it quite clear they are not to be disturbed. Even by Dumbledore himself.

We all make mistakes, including Draco. All he needs to realise is what the mistake was - Hermione's words or his.

There are a few gaping holes, which only Harry has picked up on. One letter, from the Malfoy Manor shows Hermione her wonderful fiance isn't such the hard man.

Hermione knows. Dumbledore knows. Snape knows. Fawkes does aswell probably. It's her choice who else she tells, but one wrong move and her destruction is certain.

It's the weekend, and whereas some may be catching up on homework, the Head Boy and Girl are out, once again, to their second home Hogsmeade, just spending some quality time together.

The courting couple spend a weekend apart for both to try and work out how they feel, and both to calm themselves.

After a quick visit to Gringotts, Draco goes to the Ministry of Magic, the Auror's office, in fact. Will he find what he's looking for while he's there?
