Mason immediately shook his head. “No, Mack is always Captain.”
Remus glanced at me. “But, she’s a girl.”
I frowned at him. “Well, you better get used to it, Remmy, ‘cause that’s all I’ll ever be.”

"Didn’t you hear her screaming?! She can’t swim! You should bloody well know that something is wrong if someone is screaming at the top of their lungs for you to put them down! She could have bloody well drowned!”

“Oh, I may be fat, but you're ugly, and I can diet.” Score! That was amazing! How do I come up with this stuff?

“Excuse me?”

"I do not fancy him. I don’t even know him. It’s impossible for me to fancy him.”

"I love you, too, Sis!" [Mason] shouted after me, obviously trying to give me some much unwanted attention.

"It's weird, you know," he said, keeping his gaze on the lake.

"What is?"

"I don't really know how to explain it. It'll just sound strange. For some reason, I... I feel like I have this connection with you."

"Want — to — to die," I answered him, between sobs.

"Did he kiss you?" he asked, quietly.

I took a second before answering. "Yeah. Yeah, he did."
