This caught my attention. Every time the parents had these fancy dinner parties at some expensive place, James would throw the biggest blowout ever. There were always tons of people and lots and lots of beer. Honestly, these nights held some of the best times we ever had.

“I am Head Boy!” he cried, “Dumbledore must be getting old or something because nobody in their right mind would make me Head Boy. I wonder who the lucky Head Girl is.”

Emma, Lily, and I looked at each other, none of us knowing what to say. Lily’s face looked as if she wasn’t staring at James, but a giant, talking spider.

“Do you think we are idiots?” Sirius laughed, “You will run back to your little trader friends and hatch a new plan,” I watched their feet as they tried to tug Emma along with them, but she wouldn’t budge. Finally, Remus threw her over his shoulder and all four of them marched out of the room. I listened to Emma’s shrieks of protest fade away down the stairs before I came out from under the bed.
