Placing the book on the couch, Dorcas stood up and made her way to the door, nearly jumping again as the knock sounded once more. Rolling her eyes at the childishness of it, Dorcas turned the handle and pulled open the door only to scream as the man on the other side rushed inside and lifted her clear off the ground so he could spin her around. “Meadowes! Merlin, you've no idea how much I missed seeing that gorgeous face of yours.” Sirius laughed, twirling her around once more before setting her down on the floor.

“Come now, it was jus' a lil fun,” he was whining. “I left mah drink in there! I need to get it before it thinks I've forgotten it! It'll miss meeeee!”

“You don't need your drink, you stupid mucker,” one of the bouncers told him. “I'd say you've had far too many.”

Once they were tossed outside, Sirius immediately turned to James. “Where's Mooney? And ol' Wurmtal? Ba'rastads ditched us, dinn they?” he fumed, scowling as he spun in a circle.
