“Know what?” She turned to look at Harry who had spoken. “Know what Harry?”

He clearly looked uncomfortable.

If Hermione didn’t know something then something was clearly wrong.

Hermione was scared by the tired tone in Malfoy’s voice. She was scared by the way he was staring so strangely at her...as if she was, dare she say it... hurting him. She was scared to answer him back and when she next spoke her voice came out barely a whisper.


“Your not the same.”

 

With a sudden impulse, Hermione started to run through the corridors ignoring the protests of the ghosts and other students as she barged through. She knew who she needed to see and he was sitting in his potions class at the moment. Running down the steps that led to the dungeons, Hermione stopped outside his class and stared through the window, directly at him.

Hermione’s eyes widened as she shook her head slightly, noticing that the Death Eater that had spoken earlier was now presenting a new born baby in his arms. “No....no....NO!!”

 

“Now, now beautiful, any more remarks like that and I may have to rip that pretty little tongue out from your throat. Better watch it if I were you.” He winked at her again as he pulled up a chair next to hers; his face only a few inches away. He reached out to stroke her hair in an almost loving way which made her skin crawl.
