Lucinda Dawntreader is not looking forward to summer break. She'd much rather be sitting in Hogwarts killing brain cells than stuck at home with her family.

Lucinda has to get some housework done before she goes to play Quidditch with her friends. So when her mother leaves she decides what can a bit of magic hurt? But when she goes to the game, she finds that Orion's gone to get some more players leaving her alone with James and Astrid.

Lucinda never had a problem with Dominique Weasley. At least, not until now. Now, she kind-of wishes that Greyback would rip her throat out.

Whoever knew that Dominique Weasley "The French Whore" as Luce calls her could cause so much trouble. She really hates how the young woman is hanging over her like an ominous cloud of doom.

Lucinda really wants to get together with Orion, but he's still with Dominique. So when James asks her out she says yes without exactly noting what she's got herself into. So now she's using James because she's in love with Orion who's snogging Dom. Just brilliant!

Lucinda wakes up in a terrible mood and she's not entirely sure why. She does know that she'll never be Mrs. Potter, though. She's beginning to wonder if making Orion jealous is a waste of time.

Luce is upset to see Orion practically rip off Dom's shirt in the hallway and runs from James when he tries to seduce her. Later she makes it up to him, but it ends up costing her.

Lucinda doesn't exactly know how she's supposed to feel anymore. But she knows that she doesn't feel good. She feels nothing but misery, anger, and pain.

Lucinda knows it's unhealthy to obsess over Orion this much so she takes up a new hobby, painting. But she knows that she'll never get over Orion. She'll love him until her dying day.

Lucinda has, to put in plainly, the worst Christmas she has ever experienced. She's fairly certain she can do without seeing Dom or Orion ever again. Childish, perhaps? But she's angry at them both and not so willing to forgive, either.

Lucinda wants to know how Orion feels but she isn't about to ask him. He made that obvious when he chose Dom. She's still upset over the wedding and then Dom makes plans that really send her head spinning.

Lucinda is stressing about N.E.W.T.'s, Orion's wedding, and all the regular teenage worries. But that isn't the only thing that's to cause concern, apparently. Out of nowhere a Knight of Walpurgis shows up and Luce knows that this cannot be anything good.

Lucinda didn't want to go to the wedding. Then she thought it would be funny if she arrived drunk. Of course, Astrid didn't allow this to happen. And just when Luce thought it couldn't get worse, somehow, it actually got better.
