Remus was sitting on a log by the lake. He was waiting. He had to see her.

3 Suzie !

James looked at the other three Marauders, eyes alight with this new idea of his – the old one (stopping Sirius from talking) had pretty much evaporated on the spot.

4 Take Two

Artemis was, to be quite frank, exasperated. It had been two weeks since Sirius had first seen her. Two weeks since Remus had warned her that he might be a problem. And two weeks that he had been just that – a problem.

5 Guilt Trip

Sirius was, to be quite frank, exasperated. It had been just about three weeks since he had first laid eyes on the Suzie. Three weeks that he had scoured the grounds for her, questioned everyone, and had even come this close to actually catching her.

10 Star-crossed lovers

He trudged for nearly an hour, so that by the time he finally returned to the common room, the other three marauders were surprised by his glum face – they had mistakenly assumed that the duration of his absence must have been positively correlated with a good outcome.

11 After all

Perhaps it was the unique circumstances, this special time and place, or just the effect of the very lovely woman in front of him, but it felt truly exceptional and magical, like something picked from a children’s story.  He had watched with a small smile on his face as she fixed her dress and nervously rearranged the chiffon to cover her bare shoulders…
