“Mum.” I whispered.

Hearing my voice she snapped out of her reverie and stared blankly at the woman in front of us. “Good evening, Ginny.”
 
 
 

She laughed loudly and smacked my arm. “You’re ridiculous but I still love you.”

“Doesn’t everyone?” I asked coyly.

“It’s quite difficult to say no to that face.” Drawled a voice I’d know from anywhere.
 

“Let’s…let’s get this straight. You…you as in Lillian Annalise Bijoux Potter…like, as in…like like…Scorpius…Malfoy…as in Scorpius Abraxas Malfoy.”  

She took a deep breath.

“Umm…well; it looks like hell has officially frozen over.” 

“A group of followers who call themselves the Elite have been targeting you for a while. They’ve maintained a low profile but from what we’ve discovered they’ve been operational since the fall of Grindlewald.”
 

“You love him?” I squeezed my eyes shut trapping the moisture and swallowed.

“Yes.”
 
 
 
 
 

My mother rubbed her temples. “I don’t think parents should be forced to hear about their children’s sex lives. I think I’m going to need medication after this.”

 My nails were digging hard against my flesh, drawing blood. I bit my lip furiously and let out a strangled breath, clutching at my head.

For the first time, James looked curiously between us. “So what’s going on here?” 

I sucked my cheeks in and Wesley smiled wickedly. “Nothing… unfortunately.” 

James smirked. “You are aware she has a boyfriend?” He asked with casual amusement. 

Edward snorted. “Hugo, there are three things you must never ask a girl about; hygiene, makeup and shoes. They’ll ramble on forever and by the end, you’ll just end up mortified and more confused than ever.

“You can live your whole life blaming yourself, but in the end you have to realize that you would never intentionally hurt your brother. Those feelings, the anger you felt wasn’t yours. You didn’t raise your wand against Daniel. You never would, and that, is what makes all the difference.”

"The heart is a fickle thing. Sometimes it just has a mind of its own and there’s really nothing we can do. Just be grateful for the memories and looked forward to new and even better ones, with someone you’ll truly fall for."

Lily smirked and cocked her head to the side. “Are you going to kill me…daddy?

I was sure this was one of those out of body moments. 

He observed me intently for what seemed like hours, before he nodded and turned away, leaving me feeling thoroughly disconcerted and exposed. I took a deep breath, calming my shaken nerves before following him; back to the castle, and back to reality.

One particular unfamiliar owl dove towards us and Alex had to duck as the owl soared above his head, letting a sealed envelope fall straight into my hands.  

“Funny, isn’t it? That everything happens on a full moon.”
