Fallen Lynn’s laughter filled the quiet air, giving it a bright tint. Harry, Lynn’s father, smiled happily, tossing her the medium sized rubber ball. Lynn caught it with difficulty, but Harry said, “Great catch, Lynn!” She beamed, and threw the ball back. When Harry tossed it over again, it passed Lynn and rolled into the street. Lynn chased after it, unaware of the dangers. “LYNN!” Harry cried, seeing the car approaching. He ran, but it was too late. The car ran over Lynn, and didn’t even stop. |
