It's the start of a new year, but I remain the same person. Quiet, a tad bit socially awkward, and surrounded by the schools most popular girls (and the boys the stalk them *cough cough* James Potter *cough cough*
 

You know, I never imagined that I'd have a conversation with Remus Lupin about anything, but I can't complain about his sudden interest in me, for only Merlin knows why. Add some evil siblings, and the fact that James and Sirius can't get my name right, and it'll be a pretty eventful day.
 

Sirius Black is the bane of my existance. What I meant by 'not bothering each other' was, 'stay the heck out of my face or I'll jinx your's off.' Of course, thats not the only craziness I've had to deal with lately. If life were a potion, you'd add a dollop of crazy roommates, a sprinkle of Severus Snape (tutor extraordinare), and a dash of Remus Lupin.

Then again, if life was a potion, I probably would have exploded it before now.

Oh karma, what did I ever do to you? First I pull that prank on the boys, which only ends up boosting their popularity status. Then I'm subjected to detentions in the kitchen with the one person in the world I'd rather not be locked in a tiny, dangerous room with. Finally, I'm cornered by the most insane leader of the Sirius Black Fan Club.

I mean, I'd like to think I'm a good person.
 

If Sirius Black can be a complete emotionally inconsiderate prat, then why can't I? I mean, sure, it may not be the BEST idea, but at least its an idea. At least I'm capable of having ideas. I'm definitely in the right with all of this after all of those horrible things he said....

I bet Sirius can't have a decent thought to save his life.
 
 

That Romeo and Juiet, they make horrible role models. That is, as long as Lily is right about the ending of the play. Then again, Lily is never wrong. THEN AGAIN, I've also never seen Remus be so mean and yet, it was definitely him who shoved me.

THEN AGAIN, I do have Reg, and I shouldn't have to care about anything else. Well, maybe his parents, but that's definitely NEVER going to happen.
 

The only thing that could have taken my mind off of the pure, murderous, hate I held for Sirius Black  was the unexpected recovery of my dearest friend... Until Alice decided to bring IT up again... 

So I didn't think my summer would start off with an unexpected adoption, but hey, after the year that I've had.... nothing surprises me anymore. 

I swear to Merlin, James Potter and Sirius Black are going to be the thing that puts Minerva McGonagall in an early grace. Or at least causes her to retire.

I had nothing but good intentions when I tried to warn Sirius about Alecto. But I guess you can't teach old dogs new tricks. 

As for Remus... definitely should have seen that one coming.

if Mulciber thought he was going to get away with this, then he certainly had another thing coming. 

I never knew being in a relationship could be such hard work.

You never knew what the future had to offer, but I for one knew that never in my life had I been happier. 

Despite my father's attitude... I think that went pretty well.
