Sighing, her brown eyes glanced around the crowd, her eyes settling on Scorpius, who was busy talking to her cousin, Kayleigh. But her eyes were suddenly drawn away from him when a familiar male with messy brown hair appeared suddenly, clapping Scorpius on the back. What the bloody hell was he doing here?

Of course he looked impeccable as always, his white suit making his tan skin stand out. In his last letter, he had said that he and his family were just coming back from Australia. Kara’s stormed over to him, grasping his arm in a harsh way.

“Have you heard of Platform 9 and 3/4? Well, I can think of something else with the exact same measurements.” He said as he slid into the seat next to her. Kara sighed and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. “Are you ever going to stop that?”

James thought about it for a moment. “Nope. I think it’s going to be my theme for the year,” he said before taking some bacon, toast and a big cup of orange juice.

Michelle and Fred watched their two best friends from a distance and Michelle sighed in annoyance. “Obviously they fancy each other. Why can’t they just admit it?”

Fred sighed in agreement. “Because they can’t be honest with each other. They’re like my Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione; best friends that shouldn’t, but do, like each other. They’ll figure it out.”

“I hope so,” Michelle said, turning her attention to the homework in front of her “For the sake of all of us.”

It all started with an owl.

Not just any owl, mind you, but a cute brown owl. It had an unusual name; Snickers. He had been named after a Muggle candy bar, one that its owner thought was absolutely delicious. Now, this owl had no idea that the letter attached to its leg was one that would bring devastating news. In fact, the owl thought it was being mighty helpful. After all, Snickers didn’t have a lot of work to do.

Michelle was ranting about something silly, probably about what she has to do for Head Duties. Kara nodded, but was lost in thought.

“And then I decided to get pregnant with an alien baby after a night in Rome. You were with me, remember?” Michelle added, glancing at Kara.

“Yup.”
