The Beginning of An End She was tall enough to be in her final year, and seemed to command the attention of the nearby boys easily enough. There was a grace to her stride too, but not enough to suggest she was gentle, or elegant. There really wasn't anything that quite drew us to her - or repulsed us. I'd known her name for a while now, but I'd never known the girl. She didn't seem to be aware of the attention she drew, though. She was just Rose; simply Rose. |
