Remus Lupin arrives at Hogwarts and is befriended by Sirius Black and James Potter. Of course, they don't know his secret, but how long can he keep it hid?
 
 
 
 

In spite of Remus' efforts to keep his condition a secret, his friends begin to question his absences.
 

Upon their return to school from the holidays, James engages in a series of pranks, almost costing Gryffindor the House Cup. Summer vacation provides some fun for the boys.
 

Lily suspects there's more to Remus than he's told her. Summer holidays begin, and bring with it a deepening concern over Remus' mother's health.
 

In the wake of his mother's death, Remus' friends rally around him, and he deals not only with his own grief, but his father's distance...and stony silence.
 

After being thrown out of his father's home, Remus' friends support him as he begins to try to put his life back together.
 

Remus and Sirius both move in with the Potters, who seem pleased to have them there. They enjoy their summer, practice the animagus charm and Remus is appointed a Gryffindor prefect.
 

The map is more or less completed and the Marauders decide on their nicknames. Remus has career counseling with Professor McGonagall. The fifth years take their OWLs.  Chapter includes scene Harry witnessed through the Pensieve in Snape's office, from Remus' perspective.
 

The guys spend the summer cleaning Sirius' new house, which offers them some time away from adults.  Sirius reminisces as they sort his uncle's belongings; Remus finally gets some of the answers he'd been looking for.
 

An evening of dancing at a local bar turns into summer romance for Sirius; and a complicated situation for Remus.

 Remus' final semester at Hogwarts, including graduation.
