"If this is one of your tricks to get me in bed it won't work Malfoy."



"I would never try to get you in bed," Malfoy said. "Your father would kill me."

 "Let me walk you to your common room," I said, attempting to grab her hand.

 

"Yes, because that ended so well last time," she said with a small smile.

 

"I thought it did," I said cheekily.

 I got out of my seat and followed after them, trying to stop the explosion that I knew was coming.


But I wasn't fast enough.

Normally you're supposed to date for a few years and then get pregnant, not get pregnant and then start dating. We're a strange couple. 

Unfortunately, she wasn't a bloke.


And if she was that would make her constant attempts to hook up with me even more disturbing.
 

 And that's when I knew.

"Everyone is going to do the polka on command?"


We all looked at Mum like she was insane.
 

“Hugo, I don’t know why you seem to keep forgetting that I’m pregnant,” I said. “I know that you know where babies come from.”


“Rose, stop talking,” Hugo said.


“How do you think you got here?” I asked.


He gave me a horrified look. “Thank you for that terrible mental image of Mum and Dad. Thank you so much.”
 

“Is every time you all hang out like that that dramatic and emotionally exhausting?” Audrey asked, putting her head in her hands. “I honestly cannot deal with this level of drama and that is coming from a very dramatic person.” 

“Okay,” Scorpius said, nodding. “One of us just needs to knock.”

 

“Yep,” I said. “Then this whole thing will start.”
