The gang is horrified to find out that the sixth and seventh years are forced to partake in mandatory dance lessons. Mandatory Ballroom Dance lessons that is.

The group learn their first dance: the Jive. Tempers flare between Sirius and Lea.Sirius learns he is not Merlin's Gift To Women. Well, not to all women.

The girls get a crash course in self confidence and the boys crash to the floor, numerous times. Lea gives Sirius a piece of her mind, letting him know exactly what she thinks of him. Lily realises that there's more to James than what meets the eye.

Sirius gets a dose of what it feels like to be in Lea's dancing shoes. Lea and Sirius have a civil conversation and it's safe to say that progress has been made on Sirius' part.

Sirius decides to make a move, a brilliant one that is.

Lea and Sirius' "friendship" date continues with no serious mishaps, while at the same time James and Lily embark on their first real proper date.

It finally hits Sirius that he likes his dancing partner more than he intially thinks he did, a fact that the rest of the Marauders knew well before he did and he also realises with with comical humour, that he is Mayor of the "Friend Zone". Lea finally opens about why she used to ignore Sirius' existence.

Lea now realises in turn that she has a boatload of problems, thanks to her partner. Sirius and Lea engage in a bit of mischief which Sirius experiences a highly undignified moment. Lily makes a big decision regarding our favourite Quidditch Maniac.

Sirius tries to get his head together and deal with his crush on his dance partner. The students enter the first week of serious training for the Dance Competition, where Lea discovers that dancing a whole new array of emotions isn't as easy as it's made out to be.

Berated by their dance instructor for the lack of chemistry between Sirius and Lea when perfomring their work in progress tango, Lea resignedly annulates her self imposed rules she stated at the beginning of the Dance Lessons which Sirius takes delight in exploiting.

Anything can happen on a Friday night. Sirius and Lea spend some quality one on one time...in the kitchen. Remus realises that karma isn't too fond of him.

Lea shows Sirius the sheer power of music and he experiences a strange moment in his life. Sirius decides to take his new found musical appreciation and put it to work when it comes to dealing with his girl problem.

The day of the Winter Formal and the Dance Competition finally arrives and Lea does the unthinkable: getting up before noon. This in turn leads her to having a very serious conversation with her roommates about our favourite dark haired, grey-eyed Marauder.

The students perform the group dances and thanks to the results of that, Lea and Sirius find themselves facing humongous pressure. Marlene makes a bold move.
