“What are you thinking,” I asked, leaning my head on his shoulder.

“That I want to ride a Thestral!”. James, Sirius, Remus and I all looked at him like he was mad.

“You can’t even see them mate!” Sirius said, looking at him worriedly.

I slipped my finger gently under the seal of the envelope, slowly breaking it open. I reached inside and my finger connected with something cold and hard. I pulled it out and gasped. It was a beautiful diamond engagement ring. Tears dripped from my cheeks as I turned it over the light hitting it, causing rainbows to erupt all over its surface. I was aware of Mrs Adams watching me, but I didn’t care.
