It is second year and the Marauders, young and careless, have devised a plan to become Animagi to support their friend Remus on the night of the full moon. But what happens when they brew the incorrect potion and are sent on a spiralling journey through time? 

 Meanwhile, in 2017, the Next Generation are spending a cold day in the Christmas holidays together in the Gryffindor common room when an odd blue glowing ball comes and disturbs them....

There's alot of confusion as to who is who and what year it is in the Hospital Wing. 

The Marauders are in love with... a rug? Albus wants to join a nunnery? James is hiding four boys from 1972 in his room?

"And look! Under my bed it still says 'McGonagall is a minx!"

"I've always wondered who wrote that!"

 Scorpius' home for Christmas, but it's nothing like usual...

"Apparently, James told Fred and Fred told Rose and Rose told Teddy and Teddy told Lily and Lily told Al and Al told me that it was the Marauders."

 Scorpius spends a rather gloomy boxing day grieving with his family.

"I'm glad you know that Scorpius- that's all she ever wanted. She didn't want her grandson, of all people, to think she was evil."

"I know she wasn't."

 James, Fred and the Marauders are getting along great...this isn't always a good thing.

"You're not meant to be here! How did you get here? EVERYBODY, SIRIUS BLACK IS BACK AT HOGWARTS!"

 James Potter II goes in search of the people whose names he saw lingering on the Marauder's Map. 

James Potter. He didn't know much of the boy, except that he was some egotistical second year Gryffindor who Severus didn't like much, and his parents were some of the biggest anti-Voldermort, blood-traitor purebloods around.

The Marauders, Lucius and Snape all gather in McGonagall's office for an explanation. 

'The boys in his dormitory were mean, they laughed at him and teased him about his hand-me-down robes. They were nothing like Lily. No-one was.'
