“Er, please come in and make yourselves at home,” her father said to the two strangers, giving Vitoria a quizzical look.
Vitoria returned his look with a matching one. She knew that if this was some kind of stupid joke, it was not her parents’ doing. They were just as genuinely confused as she was.

Lily dragged Vitoria away to see her Pygmy Puff, Fluffy.  She fed it a few drops of the potion and turned off the lights.  The little animal looked like a ball of green lint and emitted enough of a glow to see a few centimeters in each direction. Fluffy let out a tiny burp and vanished into the darkness.

They went up to the next floor and entered a room with Quidditch posters plastered on the walls. Vitoria now knew what Quidditch was after a brief explanation from Lily. Apparently it was a big deal in their family. 

How was she supposed to act around people that she had never met, yet knew everything about? What was she supposed to say to them? Sweet Grandmum Weasley, what’s it like to kill someone?
