Ch. # Chapter Title Word Count Reviews
1 Desk Lackeys

This was a joke. I never thought that being a Auror for the ministry would be this boring. Here I am, wasting my time on chasing thugs like Mundungus Fletcher that wouldn’t know the first part of being a dark wizard. This is a joke.

2 Assessing the Situation

I turned around at the sound of the unwelcoming crackling voice to see the ugliest house elf I have ever seen. I was nose to nose with the thing and it stood there glaring at the three of us, with what could only be describe as a look of loathing.

3 Last to Know

I woke up the night morning to Remus Lupin knocking on my door. I pulled the covers over my head and mumbled, “Go away.”

4 Hair Loss

I didn’t see Remus Lupin for the whole next week. I didn’t really know who to talk to about it and I didn’t really know what to think either.

5 Small Price to Pay

A wave a fury rolled over me. My fist tightened and I stormed forward toward Snape. However, I wasn’t the first to reach him.

6 Never Touch

At once, both Kingsley and Rufus looked over at me, tearing themselves away from their argument. Rufus looked somewhat angry, not from whatever him and Kingsley were discussing, but by the fact that I was alive and well. I suppose that he was hoping to find me on my deathbed, old bat.

7 Rarely Wrong

This wasn’t like me at all. I’ve never been this speechless in my life. I’ve always been able to hold my own and keep my wits about me. But somehow, when I was around Remus I just lost my focus. I lost everything I was previously and gained everything I needed. He made me stronger and weaker at the same time. I didn’t understand this feeling I had around Remus Lupin, but I knew, deep down, I liked it.

8 Two Unexpected Letters

He appeared familiar. He was a few years older than me. He had brownish amber hair, nice build, I could tell from my fall on top of him and a decent face. Overall, he seemed like a pretty good looker.

He smiled despite me snapping at him. “It’s nice to finally meet you, I’m John Dawlish.”

9 Touché

Maybe I was still sick. That would explain all these weird feelings I had for Remus. Right? The dream, not being able to talk properly and now blushing. That’s it I’m just sick from when I was attacked. Maybe I was allergic to dogs. Wolves are dogs, right? Right!

10 Type of Friends

“Date?” I asked. Kingsley should know I’m not dating anyone. That would get in the way of my pouting. Which I am fully committed to at the moment.

Kingsley raised an eyebrow. “Dawlish?”

Oh! Dawlish!

11 The Aftereffects of Fire and Whiskey

It was official. Today was the worst day ever.

Under me, with only my towel to separate us was none other than the guy I liked, Remus Lupin. He, of course, had to be the one thing I would fall on in my apartment.
