Hermione's first day on the island opens with a bang!

It was almost a sense of pride of her muggle upbringings, she was proud that some of the best muggle literature had managed to even penetrate into the heart of a pure-blood family.

She wasn’t ready for Draco to dismiss her as a mudblood. She didn’t want him to hate her anymore, but she was afraid that he did and that all this time he had been playing with her heart and with her emotions.

Hermione tilted her head to look at him, “What are you thinking?”

Draco looked away, his expression uneasy. “Hermione,” he began, “I think this was the work of magic.”


 
 
 

They glared at each other for a few moments before Hermione stood up, “Harry,” she began nervously, “I’d like you to meet Draco Malfoy.”
Harry’s mouth dropped open, “I’ve met him before Hermione,” he snapped. “What on earth are you playing at,” he hissed, “This is Malfoy we are talking about.”
