  Hermione opened the window and the little owl hoped through and hooted softly as in to say thank you. She had  instantly recognized the seal on the back of the letter and was extremely excited to read it but also nervous as hell!

 There were three knocks at her door, indicating that someone was here. She knew it was Harry so she didn't bother to get up and open the door for him.



“It’s open” she called and the door opened within seconds to reveal her best friend of 8 years. She jumped off the couch and gave him a bone crushing hug.

3 Head Boy

 Finally Hermione had arrived and as promised, Harry was standing outside the portrait waiting for her.

“So? I’m guessing you have a private dorm for yourself and whoever head boy is?” Hermione just nodded, bracing herself.

“I know who head boy is, McGonagall told me, uh, its Malfoy”. Hermione looked at harry as his face went from shocked to worried to protective within a stretch of five seconds.
