The night sky was clear and the wind was smooth on October thirty first. A small cottage in Godric Hallow was surrounded with happiness, unaware of what was going to happen.      

"Sorry." The man said hastily before Sirius opened his mouth. The man clenched his own cloak and lowered his head. He looked like he was hiding from someone. Just then, a strong wind blew toward them, revealing both of their head. They froze as they saw each other, unable to believe what they had seen.

"Ssss..." There was something moving near on my right. I sat up straight and stared at the dark in horror. My heart was beating like crazy and I held my breath.

A dark figure emerged and looked at me with large yellow eyes. I narrowed my eyes and finally saw what it was. It was a small snake.

A few minutes later, I was done trying my uniform and hopped down from the footstool. Professor Dumbledore was waiting for me at the door. I joined him and we brought my school books in a sop called Flourish and Blotts. Later, we got a cauldron, a telescope, and some potion ingredients secondhand.

"Just your wand left-oh, and you can choose an animal if you want."

"Welcome to Hogwarts," said Professor McGonagall. "The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but first you will be sorted in your houses."

She silently placed a four-legged stool in front of the first years. On top of the stool was a pointed wizard's hat. I stared at it, wondering what's going on when the hat suddenly twitched and began to sing.
