All Lily Potter has ever wanted was to hold her dear son in her arms - ever since the day she died. Ever since, she has been in the in-between - the place between life and death and ever since, she's been looking down on him. It's been nearly seventeen years now and Harry Potter, The-Boy-Who-Lived-And-Defeated, is graduating Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But Lily is in Heaven with a bird's eye view, yes, but also so far away. She is always there in spirit but her dream is to be with him physically, too.

Lily falls asleep in Heaven, oddly tired but when she wakes up, she has a full physical form. There is real grass and she can't see the earth below. Where is she?

It is night again and Lily is below the stars again, not above. She follows Harry on a night excursion, knowing it might be one of the last times she sees him. She feels so much love in those moments, love that she remembers. But she also feels that this might be her last night with her son.
