A teenage girl finds herself the newest victim of lycanthropy (the werewolf curse) and despairs of being able to finish her education at Hogwarts. Luckily, she receives hope, support, and information from her former professor, Remus Lupin, and is able to return to Hogwarts. But once there, will she be able to keep her new secret from her friends, and if they find out, how will they react? Takes place the year following Harry's graduation.
